Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programme (PRP) is a multidisciplinary-based treatment specifically tailored to help people with chronic respiratory ailment control breathlessness and overall improve their quality of life. The entire programme is structured and supervised by physicians and allied health professionals. It can be conducted at either an inpatient or outpatient setting.
CGH Toxicology Consultation Clinic (TCC) is specifically tailored to provide consultation to people with toxic exposures such as complex poisoning cases that involved uncommon poisoning (e.g. heavy metals, pesticides and hydrocarbon). The chemical exposures can be from industries, environment, food and hobbies etc. The Clinic is run on Friday afternoons at Specialist Clinic ‘A’ (Room 7) by the trained toxicologists.
CGH Integrated Sleep Service (ISS) provides a comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment service to patients with different types of sleep disorders as a one-stop referral centre. Located at Specialist Clinic R, our ISS combines expertise from specialities of ENT, Respiratory Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Sports Medicine, General Surgery and Psychological Medicine in conjunction with sleep Technologists to manage disorders such as: snoring, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), restless legs syndromes (RLS), narcolepsy, sleep walking, REM-behavior disorders.
CGH Sleep Laboratory is equipped with advanced technologies for conducting diagnostic sleep studies e.g. Continuous Positive Airway Pressure titration sleep study, Multiple Sleep Latency Test and Multiple Wakefulness Test. Videoendoscopic Computer-assisted Measurement technology is used in our lab for assessment of the degree of upper airway obstruction in patients with OSA. The Sleep Lab simulates the home environment and is conducive for relaxed and peaceful sleep during these sleep studies.
Shoulder & Elbow Service - CGH is the first hospital in Singapore to provide specialised service dedicated to managing the shoulder and elbow joints. Our Shoulder-Elbow Service Team manages patients on a multi-disciplinary platform of rehabilitative physiotherapy and surgical intervention. Our trainers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, Sports Medicine Physicians and Sports Orthopaedic Surgeons from the Changi Sports Medicine Centre will provide a seamless one-stop-service for all your patients who need specialised attention for their shoulder and elbow joint problems.
